FREJON: THE TRADITIONAL EASTER MEAL OF LAGOSIANS03-26-2018

Although it is not popular in the country, is a super delicious Easter recipe traditionally eaten on Good Friday. Frejon which was originally brought to Lagos, Nigeria by the returning slaves from Brazil, who settled in the Portuguese quarters is a coconut bean dish made from black beans, coconut milk and white sugar (optional). The mix of protein and coconut milk in this recipe is totally yummy.
